ORIGINAL ARTIST: PASSSENGER SONG: RIDING TO NEW YORK

November 18 2016 , Written by Ofem Ubi Published on #poetry

I’ll do it

Even if I have to walk, no matter the distance

With the last seconds of breath available at my disposal

I`ll make possible corrections to my lifetime mistakes

Right my wrongs and make my path vertical

Tell my family how much I love them

Visit friends and let them know my time on earth is creeping away like a stolen clock

I am taking a bike riding to positive change

Through storms and scary thunder

Through the caves of danger and homes of disaster

I would lay flowers for those whose bones are one with earth

For its better late than never

I would prepare my bed better this time

I would make the most off my last breathing days

Cos am tired of having my back poked by nails of avoidable misfortunes and crimes

YES,I`ll do it
