Teach Her These Things

Teach her these things 
Teach her about submissiveness 
Tell her she could get all the degrees and still be humble 
And though it's not a subject they teach in school
Experience and nature will do justice to that 
Tell her not to be scared of men 
And not to degrade them either 
For submissiveness is not fear 
It is respect through understanding 
Tell her that an educated mind is a humble one
For wisdom itself does not rest on padded shoulders
