Marriage

Whoever said you had to marry same person twice?
All in the guise of traditional and white
Whoever said you needed a gown or suit and tie
Like your union were useless without both being unified
Whoever said you can’t use one stone to kill two birds
If they were really a need to kill anyway
And whoever said you had to spend so much, all in a bid to impress
Leaving yourself to the warmth of depression and unrest
He who fails to plan, plans to fail they say
So is it safe to say that most of us are successful failures
