BARE(embrace the flaws)

My faith is limping
And hope dwindling like wind
I’m trying to prove a point
When there’s really no point to be proven
Please tell me;
That I don’t have to regurgitate my essence
And that my worth is worthless if I don’t see it
My gift is plantation
And opinions are just a tuber in the barn
Teach me that I am parable
A riddle with a thousand guesses
Tell me that my bones will remain cemetery
Until I Lazarus them from self laid tomb of doubt
That my dreams will remain locked up in Jars
Until I am ready to savor the taste of them
Tell me that I am change to the status quo
And if I don’t roll away the stone, no one will
But in everything you lecture me
Please teach me to be me
To give pretence a befitting burial
And embrace realism as newborn
Teach me to adore me
Because there’s only one kind of me, me
Bare as I can be
