WATERMARK

I saw temptation today
Resting on a feminine case
Now it was never my intention to talk but,
As I starred twice into its eyes
I wished the sun never found its home
Temptation said it’s a wealthy businessman
That thrives on popular demand
With an exchange rate too high
But yet we afford
It told me its major commodity
Said it invests so much on feminity
It inflates or deflates
All based on customers choices
Temptation has a watermark
Only visible after purchase
It is hell wrapped in heaven
A juice that turns sour once tasted
It leads the heart to wander
To search for what isn’t though it seems it is
Temptation is a liar
That only tells you the truth when you’re beheaded
When it’s too late
And of what use is the truth when the past cannot be amended
Shutting David’s eyes won’t erase the taste of Bathsheba
But refusing to turn the stone to bread is the recipe to avert disaster
I was once told…
That prevention is better than cure
And if that’s true
Then it’s high time we ran every time we saw it coming
Would you rather spend your money on drugs?
When you knew you could actually avoid the symptoms of the disease
Ok I’m done starring, Farewell…
