Teach Thy Sons These Things

Teach him these things
Teach him about time and patience
Tell him patience is a virtue well needed
And he should never change the hands of the clock
Tell him time has a voice
And it always finds a way to speak for itself
Tell him sometimes it hurts to wait
But sometimes too it pays to
Tell him that his time will come
But he should also be discerning enough to know when and how to reach time before it reaches him

Tell him to wait for time

But also to race with it
