Teach Thy Sons These Things

Teach him these things
Teach him about choices 
Tell him we all make one everyday in life 
And not choosing to make choices is a choice on it's own
Tell him life is controlled by decisions 
Mostly of which are made by him 
Tell him to always weigh his options in the balance 
Tell him to examine the gains and profit 
Tell him to make choices not through the eyes of ephemerality 
But through the eyes of infinity 
Because what's best thought through 
Is what's best durable 
Tell him that mosttimes his choices may come out faulty 
But also tell him that's why we human 
We don't always make the best choices out of the options 
We just pray that the ones we chose come out right 
And if they don't, we learn and move forward
