Teach Thy Sons These Things

Teach thy sons these things
Teach him about respect
Tell him that life is a race
And we just have to revere those who first reached the mark before us
Tell him to adore grey hair
Because with it comes wisdom and blessings, and curses if evoked
Tell him to respect those with hymen despite again, size and color
Because they possess the paradise he got incubated in
And his offsprings shall spring from that same heaven
Teach him to respect nature
Not to turn the natural for the unnatural
Not to abuse the ecosystem in which he finds himself
Tell him to revere the firmaments of the earth
Tell him also to respect himself by doing the things his conscience gives consent of
Teach him these things
