TEACH THY SONS THESE THINGS

TEACH THY SONS THESE THINGS
Teach him about perspective
Tell him that there are many sides to a story than one
That sometimes lies may come in the garment of truth
But it takes the innate eye to see the disguise before chaos
Tell him of the sky
The ceiling that covers the earth
But also tell him that there's a home beyond the ceiling
And it's his to possess hopefully
Tell him that he's no descendant of apes
That his maker formed him from clay and breath his part into him
Tell him that sometimes it's wiser to follow a certain path he believes in
Even if you're the only one on it
Because the crowd is sometimes a multitude of blind mices
Teach him these things
