Teach him about hardwork 
Tell him of the joy that comes with being productive 
Tell him of the joy that comes through hardwork rather than what's being paid for 
More electrifying than a body being laid for 
Tell him he'll be more fulfilled if he earns it Instead of cutting corners to gain it 
And of what pride is there in achieving something through the shadows anyway 
You're very well aware you never earned it 
Tell him hardwork satisfies the conscience 
But shadow walking deadens it 
Tell him he'll stay happy longer if he works for it 
But he'll wear his happiness like a mask if he pays or stains hands for it 
And one day the masks will fall off 
Teach him these things
