Ellipsis

Loving you is like ellipsis
And the space between your hands is where mine fits in
I’m yet to see eyes beautiful as yours
So bright they could make the day go blind
You see shades
Shades are sunglasses
But your beauty permeates through walls of doubt and I am your first believer
Your heart is an orchestra of sounds and I dance to every beat of it
I know I’m less perfect but I’m willing to try
So will you let me?
To hold your heart like a glass vase
For this hands will never grow shy of you
From balanced breath to wrinkle days and feeble bones I assure
That my pledge is honest
And I might not be the waterfall of love you deserve
But the stream I bring will be big enough for both our bodies to bathe in
Allow me be planter of the laughter on your cheekbones
So you could always harvest them at the mere thought of me
We could make history
And I know forever with you is too temporal
But if that’s all we have
Then let’s start now
Let’s make this seconds count by making our time timeless
And we can’t pen a perfect love story
So let’s be the world’s living poetry, just you and me
Wrapped in the nights blanket
Let the birds be our recipe for music
As your eyes tell tales only my mind would hear and my heart would understand
And we would stare at our souls till dawn greets the ocean
I would watch the sunlight seep through your fingers as your back carries the feel of velvet
Loving you is like ellipsis
And one day these dots will connect
